Six New Cases On Big Island
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 92 new cases of coronavirus Sunday, raising the statewide total to 30,776. One new COVID-related death was reported.
Six new cases of the virus were identified on the Big Island Sunday, per DOH statistics. A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the state’s website.
The state’s two-week average is 88 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.6%.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 23,749
Maui: 3,115
Hawai‘i: 2,579
Kaua‘i: 199
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 34
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 989
A total of 2,045 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 471 people have died.
