96 New Cases State-wide

The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 96 new cases of coronavirus Sunday, raising the statewide total to 30,135. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.

The state’s two-week average is 98 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.8%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 23,336
Maui: 2,968
Hawai‘i: 2,525
Kaua‘i: 196
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 34
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 961

A total of 2,011 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 467 people have died.
