Nearly 1K Troops to Train at PTA in April

Nearly 1,000 US Army and US Marine Corps troops will be on the ground at Pōhakuloa Training Area by the end of April for training.

Training will involve rotary-wing aircraft (helicopters), MV-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft, small arms, artillery, mortars and unmanned aerial systems or drones. Training will also include troops conducting ground maneuvers in the Keamuku Maneuver Area (North of Highway 200 and South of Old Saddle Road) through the weekend of April 3-5.

PTA is also hosting a Youth Hunt today, April 3, from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. For reservation information and details go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/HuntPTA.

There are currently no convoys planned for the month of April.
