Overturned Semi Slow Traffic in Waimea

A semi-truck overturned Monday, causing a traffic backup in Waimea.

Police say to expect traffic delays and to use caution on Māmalahoa Highway near Pu‘u Nani Drive, where the semi-truck is blocking one lane.

Responders are waiting for the necessary equipment to facilitate the semi-truck’s removal. One traffic lane remains open.
