The County of Hawai‘i Public Works Highways Division will close Waipi‘o Valley Road on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., for road maintenance.weather and construction conditions permitting.
Signs will be posted advising motorists of the road closure.
Waipi‘o Valley Road will be open to local traffic only (residents and farmers) during this time.
The announcement was made at the Waipio taro farmers meeting on June 13.
