All Hawai‘i Island public libraries and support offices will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, for Library Institute Day. Book drops at all branches will remain open. Branches will resume normal public service hours on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
Library staff will attend a one-day workshop to receive training on statewide initiatives and techniques on improving patron experiences.
Although the public library branches maybe closed, the Hawai‘i State Public Library System (HSPLS) offers online resources at all times.
