AARP Offering Free Tax Preparation

Free tax preparation will be available for low- and middle income taxpayers at Waimea Community Center (next to Waimea Park) every Friday 8:30 to 4 p.m. beginning on Feb. 1, through April 12, 2019.

You will need to bring your social security card for yourself and all dependents, picture ID, last year’s tax return and all tax records such as 1099SSA, 1099R. 1099DIV, W2s, tuition statements, childcare information, general excise tax number if self-employed and other tax records.

This service is provided free of charge by the AARP Foundation in conjunction with the IRS. Taxpayers of all ages are welcome. Walk-ins will be accommodated as time permits.
