Looking Ahead

An upper level low to the northeast of the Big Island continues to provide some instability over the eastern half of the state. Isolated thunderstorms are possible in this area through tonight as the low begins to lift northward. High pressure far to the northeast will maintain a trade winds through the weekend. Enhanced showers from the upper low will ride in on the trades, primarily impacting the windward and mauka areas of the islands.
