Looking Ahead

High pressure north of the state will keep breezy trade winds in place through Friday. Showers will remain a bit more active than normal over portions of the state today. A fairly typical trade wind shower regime is then expected tonight through Thursday night, although windward Big Island may remain a bit more showery tonight and Wednesday as a disturbance passes by to the south. An upper level trough is expected to bring an increase in shower coverage and intensity late Friday through the weekend. A drier trade wind pattern is forecast to overspread the state early next week.
