The West Hawai‘i Sanitary Landfill, also known as the Pu‘uanahulu Landfill, off Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway in Waikoloa, is temporarily closed until further notice due to adverse weather conditions.

The public will be notified as soon as it reopens.

Workers at the Hawai‘i County Department of Environmental Management thank you for your patience and understanding during this busy holiday season.
