A lively hip hop family event at the Thelma Parker Memorial Public Library will be presented by award-winning hip hop musician and educator Mr. Kneel, aka, Neil McIntyre.

The engaging and creative Mr. Kneel is a beatboxer, freestyle rapper and self-described “professional goofball” who records with his lifelong musical heroes, including Kurtis Blow and Kool Rock Ski of The Fat Boys.

He has performed at more than 500 schools and venues in 43 states and seven provinces abroad, sharing his powerful message of self-respect with students and families.

His events have been described as “family hip hop at its finest.”

The event will be on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017. The event is free and open to the public.

The Library is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

On Wednesdays the library is open from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m.
