St. James’ Circle Christmas Bazaar
The St. James’ Circle Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church in Waimea.
The event will features a huge Christmas store and boutique, baked goods and preserves, food booths and plant sale.
Proceeds from the Bazaar will be dedicated to the Waimea Community Meal, a food ministry collaboration with the Big Island Giving Tree and other community groups that has served over 10,000 meals this year.
The main Christmas Store will be held in the church and will offer hundreds of items from antiques to artwork, and ornaments to soaps. The St. James’ Prayer Shawl Ministry will also be selling handmade seasonal table runners, shawls, aprons, pot holders, placemats and napkins.
The Bake Shop will be in the Spencer Building across from the church, and will have chutneys, jellies, jams, cowboy cookies, fudge, muffins, cupcakes and cakes as well as poppy seed cakes and bundt cakes.
Small World Preschool will be offering face painting, a rummage sale and Hawaiian Plates outside the school in the back of the Circle. Waimea Country School will also provide a fresh food option.
The St. James’ food booths will be outdoors in front of the church, offering spam musubi, teri beef sticks, teri chicken sticks, cascaron and banana lumpia.
The plant sale will be in a tent next to the food booth on the front lawn, and will also include a range of fresh produce.
Parking and entrance to the bazaar is free.
