Kona Coffee Cultural Festival Brews in Early November
Hawai‘i’s oldest food festival will return to celebrate world famous Kona coffee during the 47th Annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival happening Friday, Nov. 3, through Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017.
The award-winning celebration honors Kona’s cultural heritage and the accomplishments of local industry pioneers, farmers and artisans.
The 10-day festival will include Kona coffee and food tastings, hands-on cultural events relating the history of Kona’s coffee cultivation history, live music and more.

Lighting Up the Evening
The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival Lantern Parade will light up Ali‘i Drive as the sun sets with a glowing procession of lights, music and color. The parade starts of the festival on Friday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m.
Holualoa Village Coffee & Art Stroll
Stroll through the quaint art district of Holualoa and visit local galleries. Choose from over 30 Kona coffee farms offering coffee samples and products for purchase.
Kona Coffee Living History Farm Tour
The historic Kona coffee farm is America’s only living history coffee farm and reveals the story of Kona coffee farmers during the years of 1926 to 1945.
Kona Coffee Cupping Competition
An international panel of professional cupping judges will conduct side-by-side blind tastings as they sniff, slurp and taste their more than 50 entries to select a winner.
Ho‘olaule‘a
Artisans, cultural practitioners, Hawaiian musicians, Kona coffee farmers and crafters will gather to share many of Kona’s ethnic traditions during a day-long Kona Coffee Cultural Festival Ho‘olaule‘a.
Brewing Up a Recipe
KTA Super Stores Kona Coffee Recipe Contest will feature sweet and savory signature dishes made with Kona coffee. Expert judges will score each entry according to presentation, harmony of ingredients, craftsmanship and design.
