High Surf Advisory: Until 6 p.m. this evening for south shores and Wednesday for east facing shores.
Wind Advisory: Through 10 p.m. this evening.

Big Island Surf Forecast
Hilo side: Surf heights are expected to be chest/head high today. The best breaks could get up to overhead.
Kona side: Surf heights are expected to be up to waist/shoulder high. The best breaks could get up to head high, breaks not catching the swell will be smaller.
South: Surf heights are expected to be waist/shoulder high today. The best breaks could get up to head high.
Northeast trade swell for eastern exposures is forecast to hold up to chest / head high with overhead sets. We expect a northwest swell to continue filling in Monday.
Our current southwest swell is forecast to hold for southern exposures through Monday / Tuesday in the waist / shoulder / head high range.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
