Looking Ahead

Winds are forecast to gradually weaken Friday with clouds and showers mainly for windward and mauka spots. Winds will weaken and shift out of the southeast on Saturday then to the south on Sunday. A humid and hazy land and sea breeze weather pattern is expected to develop with clouds and showers favoring interior spots during the afternoon and evening hours. Trade winds will eventually build back during the middle of next week.

Today 

We expect east winds around 10 to 20 mph and decreasing to light and variable. Partly cloudy skies in windward spots with scattered showers. Leeward spots should be mostly sunny in the morning with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon and isolated showers. Haze in some spots. Temperatures up to 84° to 89°.

Tonight

Light and variable winds are expected tonight. Scattered showers in windward spots with isolated showers to start and clearing skies for the Kona side as the night goes on. Low temperatures from 70° to 75°.
