Donate to Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra at Foodland
The Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra is participating in Give Aloha, Foodland’s annual matching gifts program. Fans of the orchestra can maximize their financial help by participating in this annual program.
Partnering with the Western Union Foundation, Foodland matches a portion of all donations, up to a total of $300,000 each year, for all participating nonprofit organizations, directing charitable giving efforts towards the programs their customers consider most important. Give Aloha runs from Sept. 1 to 30, 2017.
The continuing generosity of benefactors has made it possible for the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra survive and grow. New contributors to this effort are always welcome, and enjoy extra benefits offered during the current concert year.
“Give Aloha has always been timely for Kamuela Philharmonic,” said Nancy Stephenson, KPO president. “Our season begins with the first concert on Oct. 15, so having our supporters making themselves known during September really enables us to present an exciting and robust kickoff to the concert year.”
When customers shop at Foodland or Sack N Save during September, they simply show their Maka‘i card and ask to donate to the Kamuela Philharmonic, Organization # 78508. Individuals can donate up to $249. Foodland and the Western Union Foundation will then contribute a matching gift to the orchestra. All contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
