Suspect Arrested in Connection With Puna Fatality
Hawaiʻi Island police have charged Gaelynn Kahe‘e, 28, in connection with the traffic fatality in Puna on Thursday, Aug. 24.
On Friday, Aug. 25, at 8:33 p.m., police charged Kahe‘e with third-degree Negligent Homicide, Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Death or Serious Bodily Injury and Driving Without a License.
Her bail was set a $6,000, and she was released from police custody after posting bail.
