Looking Ahead

Thunderstorms and heavy showers are possible again today. Lots of moisture in the atmosphere combined with a disturbance high in the sky are keeping conditions unstable. Breezy trade winds and drier conditions are expected to return Wednesday. Trade winds are forecast to weaken a bit by the end of the weekend.

Today

We expect northeast winds around 5 to 25 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 83° to 88°. Mostly cloudy skies with showers likely for windward spots and scattered afternoon showers for the Kona side. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall is again possible.

Tonight 

Northeast winds are forecast up to 5 to 20 mph. Mostly cloudy skies with showers likely for windward areas and scattered leeward showers. Low temperatures from 69° to 74°.
