Libraries Featuring Magic Storyteller for Summer Reading Program

Magic storyteller Yasu Ishida will be featured as the Hawaiʻi State Public Library Systems’ (HSPLS) 2017 Summer Reading Program artist from June 27 through July 15.

Ishida will be presenting his unique storytelling program at several Hawaiʻi Island libraries on July 13 and 14 (see schedule below).

The free, 45-minute program is appropriate for children aged preschool through 5th grade. Attending children must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver.

Hawaiʻi Island Program Schedule (subject to change):

“Story Circus”

  • July 13, 10:30 a.m. at Laupahoehoe Public & School Library
  • July 13, 5:30 p.m. at Honokaʻa Public Library
  • July 14, 11:30 a.m. at Kailua-Kona Public Library
