2017 Mele Mai Hawaiian Music Schedule Released
The schedule for the 7th annual Mele Mai Hawaiian music celebration has been released, featuring more than 80 events statewide during the month of May.
This year’s events will spotlight local musicians including multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning and Grammy-nominated artists. They will perform at venues across Hawai‘i, as well as in Los Angeles and throughout Japan.
Mele Mai will culminate with the highly anticipated 40th Annual Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards ceremony and dinner show on Saturday, May 20, at the Hawai‘i Convention Center. Learn more and purchase tickets at www.nahokuhanohano.org.
More Mele Mai events are scheduled throughout the year at various locations, including performances hosted by the Hilton Waikiki Beach, Halekulani, Waikiki Beach Walk, Blue Note Hawaii, and Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort.

Mele Mai events on Hawai’i Island will be as follows:
- Friday – Sunday, May 19 to 28: Ka’ū Coffee Festival (Various Venues in Ka’ū and Pahala)
- Saturday, May 27, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Ka’ū Coffee Festival Ho’olaule’a (Pahala Community Center)
