WANTED: American Savings Bank Barefoot Bandit
Hawai‘i Island police responded to a reported bank robbery at American Savings Bank in Kealakekua, Kona, on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
At approximately 3. p.m., the suspect left on foot.
He is described as a barefoot, local male with short hair in his late 30s.
He was wearing “flower-type” blue shorts, a dark blue shirt with a white, triangle emblem on the front. Short hair.
He exited the bank and was seen walking in the direction of McDonald’s.
