Looking Ahead

Locally breezy trade winds are expected through Thursday. Winds are forecast to weaken a bit late this week and restrengthen early next week.  A typical trade wind weather pattern is forecast with windward and mauka showers from Wednesday into next week.

Today 

Mostly cloudy skies are expected with scattered showers for windward and mauka spots along the Hilo side. Hazy for the Kona side with mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon and scattered showers. High temperatures from 79° to 84°. Winds will be east around 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight 

East winds are forecast 10 to 20 mph. Mostly cloudy skies for windward spots with showers likely and scattered evening showers for the Kona side with clearing as the night goes on. Low temperatures from 67° to 72°.
