Looking Ahead
Breezy trade winds will bring windward and mauka showers through Tuesday with an increase in shower coverage expected starting Tuesday night as a disturbance high in the atmosphere moves over the islands bringing the possibility of locally heavy showers. Trade winds are forecast to decrease Friday with lighter winds and wet weather on tap through the weekend.

Mostly cloudy for windward spots with showers likely. Hazy for the Kona side with clear skies in the morning and building clouds in the afternoon and scattered showers. High temperatures from 79° to 84°. Winds will be out of the northeast from 15 to 30 mph.
