The National Weather Service has cancelled the High Surf Warning for north-facing shores of Hawai‘iIsland.

A High Surf Advisory remains in effect for north facing shores until 6 p.m.

All beach parks are open today.

This is a High Surf Warning and Beach Closure Information Update for Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 a.m.

The High Surf Warning for the Island of Hawai‘i remains in effect through today.

Due to dangerous surf conditions, the following beach parks are closed:

• Richardson Ocean Park
• Leleiwi Beach Park
• Carlsmith Park
• James Kealoha Park
• Onekahakaha Park
