The BEAT FM Giving Away Cash in Radio Contest
Pacific Media Group radio station The BEAT, Today’s Hits Island-Style, 95.9 FM HILO / 93.9 FM KONA, will give away $200 every day through Nov. 11 through its popular “Bankroll of Sounds” game.
Listeners will have the opportunity to win their share of thousands of dollars in cash by correctly identifying the special “sound of the hour.”
Listen for the daily sound by tuning into Eddie-O at 740 a.m. and calling 969-6888. Caller number 95 has a chance to identify the sound and will $200 in cash.
Then, tune into Uncle Jazzy from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Ms. Holly K from 3 to 7 p.m.
“We’ll play the sound every hour!” said Uncle Jazzy.
An incorrect guess rolls the cash over to the next day.
“We’ll even post the incorrect guesses on THEBEATHAWAII Facebook page, at THEBEATHAWAII.com and at BigIslandNow.com to increase your chances,” said Uncle Jazzy.
Contestants must be Big Island residents 18 years of age or older.
You can only win once; one winner per household.
PMG’s Maui station, Da Jam 98.3 FM, rolled out the game this summer with great response from enthusiastic listeners.
“I knew the game would drive the island crazy,” said Trance, Da Jam program director and host of “Trance & Mackie’s House.,” Maui’s No. 1-rated morning radio show.
“Everyone was 100% sure they knew the answer and if they got it wrong they tried even harder the next day!” said Mackie Mac.
