Big Island Surf Forecast

Hilo side: Small short period wind waves from the east-southeast rising later in the early part of next week. Light and variable northeast winds with smooth seas, increasing later.

Kona & South side: Holding SSW swell. The better Southern Hemi exposed spots of the island will see waist-chest high sets all day, while select summer spots produce occasional shoulder-head high waves.

Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
