Looking Ahead
Hot and muggy conditions are expected to continue as light trade winds veer to the southeast Tuesday through Wednesday. A rather wet pattern will continue, with showers in the afternoon and early evening. A moist and somewhat unstable airmass is moving through the state. Locally heavy rainfall and isolated thunderstorms are possible on the Big Island through Tuesday. Drier trade wind weather is forecast to return to the islands on Thursday and stick around through the weekend.
