Kuikahi Mediation: Brown Bag Talk on Thursday
Kuikahi Mediation Center will host its next “Finding Solutions, Growing Peace” brown bag lunch series on Thursday, May 19.
The monthly lunch-and-learn series takes place on each third Thursday of the month. While usually held at the Office of the Prosecutor, the May 19 meeting will be held at the Hawai’i County Building, Suite 1501 this month.
Communication, dispute prevention and resolution, and transforming conflict is the focal point of the series.
Lorraine Mendoza will be featured as the speaker on “Creating Magic: Purposeful Planning and Implementation” at the May talk.
“Community is my passion,” says Mendoza. “Successful meetings can seem magical. They come from purposeful planning so feel effortless and fruitful. My goal as a facilitator is to guide attendees along a pathway toward their shared destination.”
The meeting is free and open to the public.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch, enjoy an informational and educational talk-story session, and meet others interested in “Finding Solutions, Growing Peace.”
