HHSC East Hawai’i Regional Board to Host Annual Forum

The East Hawai’i Regional Board of Directors of the Hawai’i Health Systems Corporation will hold its annual Hilo Community Meeting next month.

On Tuesday, May 24 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Regional Board and Administration will present an overview of the operations and financial condition of all the region’s facilities.

“Personal conversations and dialogue with our community stakeholders is absolutely essential in helping guide the decisions that the Regional Board must make,” said Kurt Corbin, Chair of the East Hawai’i Regional Board of HHSC.

The meeting, held at HMC’s Learning Center, is open to the public.

In 2007, the Hawai’i State legislature’s Act 290 created the East Hawai’i Regional Board of Directors.
