Looking Ahead
Trade winds overrunning a stationary front near the Big Island will continue to bring moisture towards the state over the next several days. Clouds and showers are expected to focus along windward slopes. Trade winds should weaken to moderate levels Friday through the weekend, then strengthen again early next week.
Today
Today we expect mostly cloudy conditions during the day with occasional showers for windward areas. The Kona side will be partly sunny to start with clouds building in the afternoon and scattered showers. East winds are forecast from 15 to 25 mph. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.

Northeast winds are expected around 15 mph with higher gusts. Mostly cloudy skies are forecast with occasional showers in windward areas. For the Kona side partly cloudy with isolated showers. Low temperatures from 67° to 72°.
