Looking Ahead
Moderate trade winds are expected for the islands through Sunday with clouds and showers focusing across windward and mauka spots. The trades will taper off Monday as a cold front approaches. The front will move down the island chain Tuesday through Wednesday, bringing more clouds and showers. A return to breezy northeasterly trades is expected for the second half of the work week.

Today we expect partly sunny conditions during the day for windward areas with scattered morning showers. The Kona side will be mostly sunny to start with clouds building in the afternoon and isolated showers. Northeast winds are forecast from 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures from 81° to 86°.
