Police Seek Witnesses in Pepe’ekeo Incident
A criminal property damage incident in Pepe’ekeo early Monday morning has left authorities seeking witnesses.
According to the Hawai’i Police Department, a 21-year-old woman reported that she was traveling on Kumula Street in Pepe’ekeo when a car operated by an unknown woman intentionally struck her vehicle, nearly causing her to lose control of her car.
The 21-year-old told police that the unknown woman then exited her sedan near the second entrance of the Kulaimano Housing Complex and struck her car several times, causing damage.
Police say the victim was then struck in the head.
Authorities note that the unknown woman was described as Polynesian, about 5-foot-5 and 200 pounds. She reportedly has brown eyes and long brown hair.
The vehicle being driven by the suspect was described as a light-colored Saturn two-door sedan.
