The University of Hawai’i has selected Carleton Ching as its newest Director of Land Development.
Ching will be responsible for maximizing returns on UH’s land assets and will be in charge of system-wide planning, development, and oversight of the University’s developed and undeveloped properties. He will begin his appointed role beginning Nov. 30
“Carleton’s extensive experience in real estate development, coupled with his proven leadership, makes him the ideal executive to help further the University’s strategic direction and focus on being a high performance organization,” said UH President David Lassner. “Carleton will be instrumental in leveraging the University’s land assets to support our core mission of providing quality, affordable higher education to the people of Hawaiʻi.”
Most recently, Ching was the Senior Director for Community and Government Relations for Castle & Cooke Hawai’i.
