The fifth annual Subaru Hawai’i “Share the Love” event campaign will support six local non-profit groups, including the Hawai’i Island Humane Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hawai’i.

Throughout the months of November and December, Subaru will donate $250 for each new 2015 or 2016 Subaru vehicle sold from its lots across the state.

In additionto the $250 per vehicle sold, non-profit groups have the chance to earn $5,000 based on public votes on Subaru Hawai’i’s Facebook page. Beginning Nov. 1 and lasting throughout the campaign, ending Dec. 31, members of the public can vote for their favorite charity.

“Hawai’i Island Humane Society is honored to be a part of Subaru Hawai’i’s Share the Love campaign once again,” said Donna Whitaker, HIHS Executive Director. “Subaru Hawai’i’s Share the Love campaign raises awareness of the great work being done by Hawai’i non-profit organizations…Funding from this campaign allows Hawai’i Island Humane Society to further our initiatives of eliminating pet overpopulation.”
