Weekend Lane Closure

Weekend and night roadwork is scheduled to be conducted on the Umauma Bridge this weekend, according to the State of Hawai’i Department of Transportation.

Umauma Bridge in Hakalau is under a continuous alternating lane closures near mile marker 16 on Highway 19. The closure is on a seven-day-a-week, 24-hour schedule as bridge rehabilitation work is underway.

Speed on the bridge is reduced to 20 miles per hour.
