Kona Public Library Triathlon Schedule Changes

Kailua-Kona Public Library is changing its hours during Ironman triathlon week.

The library, which is generally closed on Mondays, will open Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Saturday, Oct. 10, the library will close. Hawai’i State Public Library System officials say roads and other fronting areas will be shut down due to the triathlon race, causing difficult access to the library.

The library will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 12 p.m. and from there, resume its regular public service schedule.
