Flash Flood Watch Issued Through Monday Afternoon

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Big Island, in addition to Maui County through Monday afternoon.

Heavy rain across the eastern half of the state is expected to continue as abundant mositure upstream of the islands remains in place.

According to NWS officials, heavy rain and saturated soils from recent rain may increase the risk for Flash Flooding.
