Looking Ahead

We expect to dry out a bit Friday as moderate to fresh trade winds work their way back into the forecast. Moisture on the edges of Tropical depression Three-C may bring back increasing showers and humidity this weekend. Increasing wind and rain are expected for the western end of the chain early next week, but the forecast details are highly dependent on the eventual track and intensity of the system.

Today

ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

Today we expect northeasterly winds from about 10 to 20 mph. This will help to make conditions a little less muggy. Partly sunny skies are in the forecast with scattered showers in windward spots and afternoon showers for the leeward side. Hazy skies are expected in the afternoon (see UHSOEST model above) but not as widespread as it was yesterday. High temperatures between 84° and 89° are expected.

Tonight

Trade winds are expected around 10 to 20 mph tonight. Mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers are expected in windward spots. Leeward areas should gradually clear as the night goes on.  Low temperatures from 73° to 78° are expected.
