Young aspiring baseball players between the age of 7-13 are invited to sign up for the 2015 Junior Vulcan Baseball Clinic, held this Saturday, Aug. 15 from 9:30 a.m. to Noon at the University of Hawai’i at Hilo baseball field.

The clinic will be led by UH-Hilo head baseball coach Kallen Miyataki, who just completed his second season at the helm of the Vulcan baseball program. Joining him will be former Vulcan Scott Wallace, who owns All Star Dugout, Brian “B.B.” Bennett, former minor league baseball player in the Houston Astros organization, and Michael Sigler, All Star Dugout strength training and conditioning coach.

Registration costs $10 and includes a camp t-shirt, and the deadline to participate is the day of the event. Interested players are asked to bring a bat and glove and wear proper baseball attire.

For more information, contact Miyataki at 932-7603 or click here for a registration form.
