No significant tilt trends have been recorded by tiltmeters at the summit of Kilauea over the past week, according to Hawaiian Volcano Observatory.
In addition to the flat tilt activity, HVO reports that only a slight amount of net change within the Overlook crater has been observed. On Sunday evening, the lake remained about 150 feet below the rim of the crater.
Seismic activity below Kilauea’s summit remains at background levels as seismic tremor that is associated with periods of vigorous spattering occurs.
No changes in tilt at Puʻu ʻŌʻō have been recorded by HVO. In addition, seismicity remains at background levels.

Webcam images of the Puʻu ʻŌʻō crater continue to show multiple incandescent outgassing vents. These were first observed last week.
HVO geologists continue to monitor the June 27, 2014 lava flow. Images from a webcam show that the breakouts to the northeast of Puʻu ʻŌʻō remain active.
