Big Island Surf Forecast

Hilo side: Waist/shoulder/head high waves expected today for east exposed breaks.

Kona side: Wave heights of waist/belly high are expected. The best breaks could get bigger waves on the sets.

South: Wave heights waist/chest high are expected. Standout spots could get a bit bigger on the sets.

Old south-southwest swell fades on Monday while southwest peaks and holds through Tuesday. A couple of swells are due in this week as well.

Out of the North Pacific conditions will be pretty flat, just a little trade swell wrap expected. Models are showing a new swell next Thursday/Friday.

Trade swell it expected through the next few days in the thigh/waist/belly high range.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
