Waterline work along Kamehameha Avenue will continue Wednesday, causing a temporary water shut-off along the road from Pauahi Street to Ponahawai Street. According to the Department of Water Supply, the continuous shutoffs are a result of the ongoing Kamehameha Avenue Reconstruction Project.

Upon resumption of water service, customers in the area may experience turbid or discolored water, in addition to the possibility of trapped air in plumbing. These disruptions will subside as water is used.

DWS advises that customers take necessary precautions to protect property and facilities. This includes devices that are dependent on the use of water or water pressure.

All questions should be directed to District Supervisor Carl Nishimura at 961-8790.
