Microsites Launched in Debate Over TMT

Two informational microsites have been launched to provide a gathering place of information on the Thirty Meter Telescope project and objections against the construction by opponents.
TMT is using its website, Mauna Kea and TMT, to address questions pertaining to cultural, environmental, community, and financial impact, in addition to compliance, history of community outreach, and science.
Mauna A Wakea, meanwhile, is using its website, ‘A’ole TMT, to provide a reference place for background, legal, social media, articles, and news, as well as action items.
Leaders of both websites plan to update the pages as additional information is available.
