Partly cloudy skies are expected for leeward areas in the morning with building cloud cover and scattered showers in the afternoon. Briefly heavy downpours are possible. Trade winds are forecasted from 15 to 30 mph with higher gusts. High temperatures from 81° to 86°.

Showers are likely in windward and mauka areas tonight. Leeward spots are expected to have mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers in the evening, then some clearing. Trade winds are forecasted from 15 to 30 mph with higher gusts. Low temperatures from 68° to 73° are expected.
Looking Ahead
Locally breezy trade winds are expected through the end of the work week. The trades are forecasted to bring passing showers to windward areas with a few reaching leeward locations on the smaller islands. The leeward Big Island will see afternoon clouds and some showers. Trades are expected to drop to moderate levels for the weekend as an old frontal cloud band moves south over the islands during the weekend and brings increasing showers.
