Partly cloudy skies are expected today with a slight chance for windward showers. The Kona side should get mostly clear morning conditions with building clouds in the afternoon as the sea breeze takes hold. Light and variable winds are forecasted from 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures from 77° to 82°.

Tonight
Partly cloudy skies are expected for the windward side with just a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy skies to start on the Kona side, becoming mostly clear as the land breeze takes hold. Variable winds are forecasted from 5 to 15 mph. Low temperatures from 65° to 70° are expected.
Looking Ahead
Light winds and mostly dry conditions are expected to continue across most of the aloha state through Wednesday. Local night time land breezes and afternoon sea breezes can be expected through Wednesday afternoon. A weak front approaching Kauai from the northwest Wednesday night and Thursday is expected to increase shower activity later this week, especially across windward and mauka areas of the island chain. Behind this front we expect a gradual increase in trade wind speeds from Thursday through this weekend.
