In observation of National Nutrition Month, the ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center will hold “A Cream Tea & Chat” with JoAnn Aguirre on Sunday, March 15 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will allow attendees to experience a traditional cream tea while learning about the health benefits of drinking tea.

An English tradition, cream tea is a light afternoon meal that includes drinking tea, eating scones, clotted cream, and jams or curds. Generally, the afternoon meal is seen as a pick-me-up that is not limited to just the afternoon.

Discover why the second most consumed drink is a recommended part of a healthy diet, as Aguirre teaches attendees the power behind the benefits of tea drinking.
