Wheel Of Fortune Returns To Waikoloa
Iconic TV game show Wheel of Fortune is returning to Hawaii Island this summer for the program’s 32nd season.
It’s the fifth time since 1996 that “The Wheel” has taped episodes in Hawaii, the Big Island Visitors Bureau said.
This time 20 episodes will fall into four themed weeks from “Wheel Goes Waikoloa” to “Second Honeymoon,” the BIVB said in a release.
The cast and production crew arriving at the Hilton Waikoloa Village and Waikoloa Beach Resort will be collecting footage in Hawaii through September, and episodes are set to air weeknights in November 2014 and February 2015 on KHON2 in Hawaii and on 210 syndicated stations, the release said.
Contestants and audience members are still being sought.
The Hilton Waikoloa Village invites its resort guests to be in the Wheel of Fortune audience as part of a special room-and-audience ticket package. Visit www.hiltonwaikoloavillage.com.
