Police have identified a man found dead Wednesday night in a Hilo apartment as 59-year-old Robert A. Evanson of Hilo.
Police responding to a disturbance at the Low Apartment building on Ululani Street found Evanson’s body in the apartment believed to be occupied by 63-year-old Ellsworth Hulihee.
Hulihee was arrested at the scene along with 52-year-old Rhonda Faris of Pahoa.
An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon to determine the cause of death.

A man and a woman were arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of second-degree murder in connection with a death in Hilo.
Police responding at 7:32 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a disturbance on Ululani Street found the body of a 59-year-old man in a unit at Low Apartment at 140 Ululani St.
Police said the apartment was the residence of 63-year-old Ellsworth Hulihee.
Hulihee was arrested at the scene along with 52-year-old Rhonda Faris of Pahoa.
Both were being held today at the Hilo cellblock as detectives continued their investigation.

Police identified the victim through fingerprints. His identify is being withheld pending notification of family living on Maui.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning.
