Convoys are slated for:

  • 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Oct. 13-22.
  • To and from Pōhakuloa Training Area and Kawaihae Pier.

Motorists are asked to consider the above schedule when making travel plans or commuting.

Convoys will consist of 10 to 15 military vehicles carrying personnel and equipment. Convoy leaders will continually assess conditions and conduct pull-over procedures on permissible straight-way sections of the road to allow local residents to bypass the convoy and reduce backed up traffic.

Contact the U.S. Army Garrison Hawaiʻi Community Concern Line at 808-766-7778 or via email at usag.hawaii.comrel@army.mil to report any concerns related to noise or training.

Concerns are responded to during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
