Have you seen him? Police ask for help with locating missing Oregon man

Hawai‘i Island police ask the public for help with locating a missing 27-year-old Oregon man last seen nearly a month ago in Kona.

Mark Mironichenko was reported missing Sept. 17.

He was last seen at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 22 in Kailua-Kona, wearing camouflage shorts and unknown color of shirt as well as carrying a backpack.

Mironichenko is 5-foot-9, 165 lbs., with a shaved head and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call the Hawai‘i Police Department non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or email to Kona Patrol Officer Andrew Padilla at Andrew.Padilla@hawaiipolice.gov.
